LOGOS ACADEMY'S “FAITH IN OUR CITY”

On Thursday, July 29 Logos Academy will present “Faith in Our City” at Sovereign Bank Stadium.
Gates will open up at 5:30 p.m. and at 6 p.m. Christian recording artist Anthony Evans, whose latest album, "The Bridge" debuted as the #1 Christian album on iTunes, will perform a concert.
For the past six years Anthony has been a solo artist; writing, arranging, and singing around the globe. He has recorded 4 albums: “Even More”, “Letting Go”, “The Bridge,” and most recently his debut Christmas album “What Christmas Means.” All three of Anthony’s major releases were written at times in life when he was trying to understand the depth of God’s love. As the message of “The Bridge” conveys, Anthony is content to worship as God leads him on this incredible journey.
At 6:30 p.m. the concert will be followed up by his father Christian pastor, and widely-syndicated radio host of the "Urban Alternative," Dr. Tony Evans, at 6:30 p.m., speaking for approximately 45 minutes.
Dr. Evans has served as an associate evangelist with the Grand Old Gospel Fellowship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He helped organize and served as Vice President of Urban Evangelical Mission, a national evangelistic and church planting organization, and served as an associate professor in the Pastoral Ministries Department of Dallas Theological Seminary in the areas of evangelism, homiletics, and black church studies. He also served as chaplain for the NFL's Dallas Cowboys and presently serves as chaplain for the NBA's Dallas Mavericks. Dr. Evans was born in Baltimore.
The Revolution game against the Camden Riversharks will start at 7:30 p.m.
