(September 25) — The Freedom Division Champion York Revolution is headed back to the Atlantic League Championship, and tickets are now on sale for Game 3 of the Championship Series on Friday, September 29. The best-of-five series will return to York after Wednesday and Thursday games hosted by the Liberty Division Champion Long Island Ducks.

The Revolution clinched its third pennant in a 5-1 road victory over the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in Game Four of the Freedom Division Series on Saturday night.

Tickets for Friday’s 6:30 p.m. matchup at PeoplesBank Park are now available online, in the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office, and by phone at (717) 801-HITS.

The team also announced two promotions for the Friday night game. The first 1,500 fans through the gates Friday night will receive a Revolution rally towel sponsored by Penn State York.

Friday will also be “Black Magic” night, when the team will give the first 1,500 fans black Revolution T-shirts presented by WellSpan Health. The T-shirt will emulate the black alternate uniforms Revolution players have donned throughout most of the postseason.

“Baseball organizations are pretty superstitious by nature, so we hope we’re not jinxing anything here, but the team won all three playoff games in the new black uniforms, so we’re hoping that ‘black magic’ will continue in the championship,” said Revolution President Eric Menzer. “Between the blackout we create with the T-shirt giveaway and the rally towels that we hope will be flying, it’s going to be a very exciting atmosphere at the ballpark, and we are thrilled that these sponsors are willing to help our fans really show their Revs spirit this weekend.”
