(August 20, 2026 – York, Pa.):  The York Revolution teed off early and often in Thursday’s contest, winning their third straight with an 11-6 victory over the High Point Rockers in front of 3,737 fans at WellSpan Park. York (65-40, 30-12) increases its first place lead to four games in the North with 21 to play in the regular season.

The Revs struck right away, matching their biggest first inning of the year with five runs out of the gates. The first four all reached as Nick Dunn opened the scoring with an RBI single to right and Jacob Teter blistered an RBI double down the right field line. High Point starter Justin Dunn’s first out produced another run as Jackson Ross’ grounder to short made it 3-0. Devonte Brown slammed a two-run homer to right center, his 11th of the year, as the lead grew to 5-0 at the end of one.

Brian Rey picked up his 102nd RBI on a grounder that went for an error in the second as York led 6-0.

The Revs put together another five-run frame in the third, sprinting out to an 11-0 lead. Brown singled and stole second, scoring on Mike Rosario’s double to right center. Dunn cleared the bases with a three-run double to right as the Revs reached double digits, and Ross picked up his second RBI of the night on a single up the middle to cap the rally.

York starter Zach Mort (1-0) retired his first nine on just 33 pitches, cruising through the first three innings.

Luke Napleton provided all of the damage against Mort, opening the fourth with a homer to left, his 30th of the year. He added a two-out, two-run homer to right center in the fifth giving him back-to-back two-homer nights.

Mort finished with a scoreless sixth and allowed just three runs on five hits in six innings, winning his home debut. He walked one and struck out six.

Denny Bentley worked a scoreless seventh out of the Revs bullpen.

High Point plated three against righty Trey Braithwaite in the eighth, scoring bases loaded runs on a hit by pitch, walk, and ground out.

Josh Mollerus closed it out with a 1-2-3 ninth.

Notes: The win is the 1,299th in franchise history for the Revs. York out-hit High Point 15-6, posting 15 knocks for the second straight night. The game began after a 17-minute rain delay. Shed Long Jr. led off for the first time this year, giving Tomo Otosaka a night off; he reached in each of his first four plate appearances, marking nine consecutive trips to the plate reaching safely. Rey’s 102 RBI are five shy of a Revs season record. Teter is close behind with 98 and Dunn’s season high-tying four RBI give him 96 on the year as the Revs are making a bid to become the first team in league history with three players reaching the century mark. Rosario has a 31-game on-base streak. The Revs improve to 38-16 at WellSpan Park including a 20-5 mark since June 21.

Next: The Revs will aim to become the fifth franchise in Atlantic League history to win 1,300 games on Friday at 6:30 p.m. as RHP Rhett Kouba (8-4, 5.10) faces Rockers righty Matt Colucci (4-5, 5.49).
