(August 17, 2026 – York, Pa.):  The York Revolution welcomed the Lexington Legends back to WellSpan Park on Monday afternoon for the completion of their suspended game from August 2. The Legends received the one big hit they needed in the top of the tenth inning, finishing a 14-13 victory.

The game was suspended with the bases loaded and one out in the top of the tenth following a third lengthy rain delay from 15 days prior. Xane Washington came through with the game-winner for the Legends on a two-run single to center against reliever Brendan Collins who inherited the jam. Collins retired Dylan Rock on a 6-4-3 double play as the Revs came to the plate down two.

Devonte Brown led off the Revs’ half of the tenth and worked a walk from closer Carson Lambert to put two aboard. Lambert, returning to the mound after working the eighth and ninth innings on August 2, retired the next two batters before Brian Rey reached on a throwing error by shortstop Gabe Howell allowing a run to score and keep the game alive. Lambert (6-1) came back to strike out Jacob Teter on a foul tip, however, ending it with runners at the corners.

The Revs were attempting to pull off their biggest comeback since 2021 as they trailed 7-0 early on August 2. York had battled back to within 7-6 in the third inning before the second rain delay that Sunday afternoon, scoring on a solo homer by Jackson Ross and a grand slam by Austin Bates which will both now be added to the season stats with the game having gone final. York later faced a pair of three-run deficits before ultimately tying the game with runs in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings as Drew Ramirez’ two-out single capped a ninth inning rally that extended the contest.

Mike Rosario also homered in the game on August 2 as his long ball will also now be added to his season stats.

It was the 12th suspended game in Revs history and first since May 30, 2025 vs Long Island. York’s extra inning frustrations continue as the Revs go to 2-8 on the season, 0-3 at home.

York falls to 62-40 overall with a 27-12 mark in the second half. Both York and Lexington now hold two-game leads for first place in their respective divisions with 24 games to play in the regular season. The Revs finish the season series 7-5 against the Legends.

The Revs will look to get back on track Tuesday night as they welcome the High Point Rockers for six games in a rematch of last year’s Atlantic League Championship Series. RHP Nick Mikolajchak (4-1, 2.60) gets the ball in the opener at 6:30 p.m. It is Sheetz Customer Appreciation Night and a WellSpan Sports Medicine Silver Slugger Tuesday. Tickets are on sale at YorkRevolution.com, (717) 801-HITS, and in-person at the Shipley Energy Ticket Office.
