(August 18, 2026 – York, Pa.): Nick Dunn and Brian Rey slammed back-to-back homers in the seventh and made franchise history in doing so while Cam Robinson nailed down the save in his return as the York Revolution kicked off a six-game home series with the High Point Rockers, winning 7-4 on Tuesday night at WellSpan Park. The Revs (63-40, 28-12) snap just their second four-game losing streak of the year, increasing their first place lead in the North Division to three games.
York led early as Jackson Ross picked up his 80th RBI of the year on a two-out single up the middle in the bottom of the first while another run scored when Jacob Teter dove home on a wild pitch for a quick 2-0 lead.
Revs starter Nick Mikolajchak enjoyed a six-pitch first inning but had to battle in the second as High Point loaded the bases with no outs. Sac flies from Colin Davis and Aidan Brewer tied the game at 2-2.
The Revs answered right back, setting the table with singles from Mike Rosario and Austin Bates in the bottom of the second. Tomo Otosaka sacrificed both runners, and Dunn logged his 90th RBI of the year on a grounder to second, giving the Revs a 3-2 lead.
Ross scored from second base on a wild pitch in the third when catcher Luke Napleton’s throw toward third sailed wide for an unearned run, increasing the Revs lead to 4-2, but Rockers starter Sam Ryan lasted six innings allowing nothing further to keep the game close.
York’s bullpen handled a heavy workload as Denny Bentley retired the side in order in the fourth and Jordan Geber made his debut with a double play ball in a scoreless fifth.
High Point inched closer with an RBI single by Hogan Windish in the sixth but Geber struck out Ryan McCarthy before Ryan Shreve entered to retire Ethan Skender on another 4-6-3 double play, preserving a 4-3 lead.
Josh Mollerus struck out the first two in the seventh, but Brewer doubled and scored on Ty Hubbard’s single the other way, tying the game at 4-4.
Otosaka greeted High Point reliever Jayden Voelker (0-1) with a bunt single to spark the decisive response in the bottom of the seventh. Otosaka stole second and went to third on another error by Napleton. With the infield in, Dunn blasted a two-run homer onto the clubhouse roof in right field to launch the Revs back ahead, 6-4, while setting a new franchise record by reaching safely in his 51st consecutive game. Rey followed by clobbering his own missile to left, becoming the fourth in Revs history to 100 RBI in a season and the first since 2019, as the duo went back-to-back for a 7-4 lead.
Tyler Thornton struck out two and allowed just a bloop single in a scoreless eighth in his home debut.
Robinson was greeted with a walk and a single but struck out the next two before retiring Napleton on a fly out to deep right, notching his first save with the Revs in 2026.
Notes: Dunn’s 51-game on-base streak eclipses Carlos Franco’s previous franchise mark of 50 consecutive games in 2022. The 51-game streak ties Kennard Jones (Long Island 2011) for the second longest on record in league history, trailing on a 60-gamer by High Point’s D.J. Burt in 2023. Dunn’s 21st homer ties Teter for the team lead while he extends his season totals to 92 RBI and 91 runs scored, both fifth most in the league. Rey is now seven RBI shy of a franchise record as he ties Telvin Nash (2019) for third most in franchise history with 100 in a single season; only Jason Aspito’s 105 in 2008 and Chris Nowak’s record 107 in 2012 rank higher. Otosaka tied Alexi Casilla for third in Revs history with his 25th bunt hit while his two steals move him past Jared Mitchell for second on the club’s all-time stolen base list with 84, just four shy of Wilson Valdez’ franchise record. Otosaka scored his 99th run of the season, sixth most in franchise history and second most in the league. The Revs snapped their second four-game losing streak of the year (also June 17-20); they had gone 34-10 in between, one win off the best 44-game span in league history.
Roster Moves: Robinson re-signed earlier in the day as the 2025 Atlantic League All-Star closer and Revs’ Pitcher of the Year picked up his 89th career save and 17th in a York uniform. The former Milwaukee Brewers and New York Mets prospect finished his Mexican League season going 6-1 with 17 saves and a 2.45 ERA for Aguascalientes after rolling out a 0.61 ERA for the ALPB champion Revs last season. Geber signed with York after spending his fifth season in the Mets system at Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Syracuse this year; the Severn, MD native also pitched for Team Israel at this year’s World Baseball Classic.
