Revs’ 1B, CF recognized as league’s top defensive players at their positions

(September 29, 2026 – York, Pa.): 

York Revolution first baseman Jacob Teter and center fielder Tomo Otosaka have been selected to the Atlantic League’s Drake All-Defensive Team, it was announced today. As voted upon by the league’s managers, these players represent the best defensive players in the Atlantic League during the 2026 regular season.

Teter started every game for the Revs as a league-leading 121 of those 125 starts came at first base. He led all Atlantic League players with 1,003 total defensive chances and 954 putouts while being involved in 113 double plays. He committed only six errors, good for a .994 fielding percentage, tops among any first baseman to have played more than 55% of his team’s games at the position.

Teter had a 41-game errorless streak from May 6-June 26, immediately followed by a 62-game streak without an error from June 28-September 8. Combining those two spans, he held a .999 fielding percentage with just one error in 873 chances from May 6-September 8.

Teter’s selection marks the sixth time and fifth consecutive season that the Revs have had the league’s top defensive first baseman as he joins Andres Perez (2015), Nellie Rodriguez (2022), Drew Mendoza (2023), David Washington (2024), and Frankie Tostado (2025) in receiving all-league recognition.

Otosaka becomes the first player in Revs history to be named to the Drake All-Defensive team twice having also been selected in 2023. In 87 games in center field, Otosaka ran down 221
