(November 30, 2016) – SportsRadio 1350 WOYK announced today a partnership with Keystone Sports Network that makes the sports talk AM station – York’s first radio station – the area’s exclusive broadcaster of "BlaiseAlexander.com Keystone Kickoff," the popular year-round Penn State football talk show.
"BlaiseAlexander.com Keystone Kickoff" will debut on WOYK on Monday, December 5, and air Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 6 p.m. The one-hour show features as hosts renowned Penn State insiders Greg Pickel, Bob Flounders, Dustin Hockensmith, Andy Shay, and nationally-renowned sports commentator and former NFL lineman Ross Tucker. The hosts and their guests provide in-depth analysis of the Penn State football program and the latest in recruiting news surrounding the Nittany Lions.
"We are thrilled to land the exclusive York partnership with Keystone Sports Network, said WOYK General Manager Darrell Henry. "As a Penn State football fan myself, I know very well the passion in our region for the Nittany Lions. This is a great addition for our audience as we continue to provide our listeners with the very best in sports talk throughout the day."
The new program joins the likes of Mike Florio, Dan Patrick, Rich Eisen, and Colin Cowherd on WOYK’s daytime schedule and further adds to what Henry called WOYK’s deep commitment to both the local and national sports scene.
"’BlaiseAlexander.com Keystone Kickoff’ was created with passionate Penn State football fans in mind," Henry added. "It not only analyzes each game and matchup in detail during the season but also appeals to the Penn State fan who craves more information during the off-season and wants to know not just what happened, but why it happened and what effect it will have on the future of the program."
In addition to the three airings of "BlaiseAlexander.com Keystone Kickoff" each week, the partnership will add Penn State updates throughout the WOYK broadcast day through the Keystone Sports Network "Minute" reports, and show archives and other features will be added to the station’s website, http://www.woyk1350.com.
WOYK has also previously broadcast Penn State York sporting events and will carry the December 2 basketball doubleheader to open the school’s new on-campus gymnasium.
