(May 31): This Saturday, York Traditions Bank brings back a party big enough to fill a stadium. Brews & Skews returns to downtown York with great food, craft beers, and hot music and even pops the cork on wine offerings for another free party in the York Revolution’s outfield.
Presented by York Traditions Bank and Eventive, the event planning and production division of the York Revolution, Brews & Skews will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the home of the York Revolution, PeoplesBank Park. In the same field where Revs outfielders snag fly ball after fly ball, Yorkers and foodies from neighboring areas will picnic surrounded by some of the best food vendors the region has to offer.
To wash down those delicious offerings, Brews & Skews attendees will enjoy 16 varieties of craft beers from Liquid Hero, Windridge Farms, Crystal Ball, South County, Lancaster Brewing Company, and more. This year’s event will also mark the first time that attendees will be able to purchase wine by the glass.
Thanks to York Traditions’ sponsorship, admission to the event is free, and participants will be able to pay as they go for food and beverages throughout the day.
To add to the day’s festivities, Brews & Skews will feature musical performances by Peter Bottros, Danica Shirey, and Music Mastery, as well as a cornhole tournament hosted by Leadership York.
Brews & Skews will also host activities for kids and families, including the Stauffer’s Playground, inflatables, face painting, balloon artists, and more.
“We are thrilled to again partner with Eventive in throwing a terrific downtown party,” said Gene Draganosky, President & CEO of York Traditions Bank. “There is so much to celebrate in York—from amazing food and beverages to unique entertainment to that strong sense of community we feel around town. We are in business because of that great community, and we love giving back to it through fun events like Brews & Skews.”
“Our partnership with York Traditions is a real win-win,” said Adam Nugent, director of Eventive. “Their dedication to the community in which they live and work means another terrific summer party for all of us, and we’re looking forward to hosting our neighbors for our best cookout and party yet. The price is right, the food and drinks are outstanding—it’s going to be a blast.”
